I see the future and the future is atomic

STONER has been in Kennedy Country of late, so it was worth enquiring into that vexing problem of energy security.

It is evident to me that there is a new policy direction that is already set in STONE.

Mark my words there will be protests, there will be challenges in the Courts, but all to no avail… A policy that has been on ice since the events of Three Mile Island and Chernobyl is currently perceived as the United State’s only option.

A new generation of nuclear power

Bien sur, the US must gaze over the Atlantic at its old nemesis Gaulist France with envy, as that country produces 80% of its electricity a la Bombinette.

American think-tank PhD types have been agonising long and hard over this direction, but overall they see it as the lesser of all evils. A contributing factor no doubt is the failing foray into Iraq. Global warming – although hard to model into the future – is no doubt real. Recycling surplus nuclear weapons and existing power station waste is important too.

I do wonder though – what will Iran have to say about these developments?
