The AUSTRALIAN press is currently full of articles about the Reserve Bank of Australia.

This is mainly because the RBA is adept at glorifying its own importance!

Consider the following:

1. AUSTRALIAN reserves are small compared to many other countries.
2. The Four Pillar Banks are the rightful guardians of our money.
3. The international marketplace, in the end, dictates the level of interbank interest rates.

You see the RBA really does not do much at all; although it should regulate our retail banks better. Essentially, it is nothing more than a glorified WORK FOR THE DOLE SCHEME!

If the Government is serious about cutting costs, this is a good place – it is a six man job at most!

The RBA only gives us the ILLUSION of stability.

Social Security, Medicare and Charity give us stability.
