On the world stage Australia only has a Platypus Duck

Trains are emerging as one of the more energy efficient forms of transport.

In Japan we can find a few new examples of what have been called Platypus Trains, shaped for less drag and noise at speed through tunnels.

On the world stage Australia only has a Platypus ‘Duck’.

Despite a lot of talk about “Grand Construction Works”, a modern High Speed Rail just does not figure.

This is probably because the Government of the day is always reluctant to put Qantas Airways ASX:QAN under competitive pressure.
