If the “M” in MI6 stood for Morris, the “M” in MO9 (ASIS) should stand for Malcolm.
Elder Statesman and Ex-Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser has always impressed me as one of Australia’s clearest thinkers.
During his Prime Ministership Malcolm Fraser presided over a difficult time. The chances were that Britain would join the European Union. It was time for Australian Intelligence, along with everything else, to go it alone – Malcolm Fraser stood tall.
On 25 October 1977, then Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser declared the existence of ASIS as official; its existence had been a dark secret. Malcolm Fraser became The Godfather of Australian Intelligence. If the “M” in MI6 stood for Morris, the “M” in MO9 (ASIS) should stand for Malcolm.

Mr Fraser, Liberal prime minister from 1975 to 1983, confirmed through his office that reports were accurate that he had quit the party, saying it was no longer a liberal party and he could not stomach the way it operated.
I think that like this Naif he is sick of the Politics of Ignorance and Fear!
